The Brunei-Korea Startup Networking and Pitching Competition acts as a platform for dialogue, partnership, and inspiration. His Excellency Sun Nahmkook, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam stated the matter in a keynote speech at the Opening Ceremony held at UNN Signal in Jalan Pasir Berakas. His Excellency Sun Nahmkook also emphasised that collaboration is a key to nurturing innovative ideas and achieving sustainable growth across borders.

Present was Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture, at Ministry Culture, Youth and Sports. The two-day event brings together startup founders, innovators, policymakers, and investors in the country, the Republic of Korea and Sabah. The initiative is part of broader efforts to advance Brunei's digital transformation agenda and strengthen its participation in the ASEAN–Korea innovation ecosystem. The event is jointly organised by the Brunei Innovation Lab and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the country, in collaboration with Unified National Networks UNN.
